I am so excited about this new local business. It’s called Memories That Last a Lifetime and it’s the most popular way to cherish loved ones and memories in an amazing line of photo jewelry. I have seen this jewelry first hand and it is absolutely beautiful. These are great for birthday, anniversary, and Christmas gifts. Or if you just want to get a lil something for yourself.
Make sure you check them out!!
And to our clients…if you would like to order a piece of photo jewelry with an image that we took of your pet, we will gladly allow you to do this at no additional charge. Just let us know which image(s) and we will send it/them to MTLL for you.
I’m so excited to be a part of my newest Life Group (sexy word for small group) at 4 Corners Church. It’s a photography group led by Paul Armstrong. I’m so excited to get to learn from a great photographer and hang out with some awesome people all summer. Can’t wait to get shooting with you all!!!
Have you ever wondered how to take better photos of your pets? Well here’s your opportunity!
We are offering two beginners pet photography classes this summer at the SPCA in Sharonville. We will go over the basics of lighting, composition, and some basic tips on how to get your pet to cooperate while you’re shooting.
These classes are for the point and shoot shooter. We will not be teaching you how to use an SLR. This is simply an opportunity to learn how to make your photographs better and is by no means a replacement for professional photography.
Our first class is being held on Saturday, June 19 from 10am – 12pm. Cost is $40. Make a $10 donation to the SPCA and your cost will be $30. No registration necessary. We simply ask that you arrive 15 minutes before the class begins in order to get signed-in.
Be sure to bring your point and shoot camera. But please DO NOT bring your pets. We will be practicing on the animals at the SPCA. Maybe the photo you take will end up on that pet’s petfinder page and help find them a new home!
This photo was taken with a point and shoot camera. It can be done.
Yesterday we spent the afternoon on Main Street in Over the Rhine for Second Sundays on Main. The theme was “Dog Days”. And there were a lot of dogs that came out with their humans to enjoy the festivities.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth to say “hello”. We enjoyed meeting you all.
These 2 greyhounds are available for adoption. If you’re interested…contact Queen City Greyhounds.
This lil pittie pup was by far one of the cutest dogs we saw all day!
It always cracks me up when I see a family with one giant dog and one itty bitty dog. This was no exception.
Ok…so, I’ve been really bad about blogging lately. Matt and I have been very busy with a lot of life stuff other than our business (not bad stuff…just stuff). So I apologize for the lack of blogging. But hopefully this will cheer you up.
I took this photo with my phone, so pardon the poor quality. I love my vet…and this sign in their parking lot just gave me another reason why.
I promise I have not been purposely neglecting this blog. The rain has put off several of my sessions…so I don’t have any previews for you. And we’ve been really busy with the Cutest Dog Contest on our facebook fan page…so unfortunately, the blog has taken a back seat.
But I did want to share this absolutely hysterical video with you. It’s from a website called SimonsCat.com. The cartoonist is a cat owner who started making animated stories about his experience with his cats. If you have a cat…you will totally understand!
Thanks to all the adorable contestants in our 2nd Annual Cutest Dog Contest! Now its time for Cincinnati to pick a winner (and it’s not gonna be easy!)
To cast your vote, simply leave a comment on the photo of the dog that you think is the cutest. Each comment from a unique facebook user account counts as a single vote (multiple votes from the same user will only be counted as one vote.) You may vote for multiple dogs if you wish.
The dog with the most votes at Midnight, EST, on March 31st will receive a free Private Session with Love Mutt Photography.
So go vote…then invite all your friends to go vote…then tell them to invite their friends to go vote! Let’s find out who is the cutest dog in Cincinnati!
Fine Print Mumbo Jumbo We reserve the right to disqualify any votes we feel to be an attempt to circumvent the system of honesty laid out in our voting process. Prize session of $300 value is non transferable and must be redeemed within 6 months of contest ending on March 31. Prize includes session only. All prints and additional products must be purchased at regular price. Winner will be announced via the Love Mutt Photography blog as well as our facebook account on April 1, 2010.
We are so excited about this awesome new pet column that just started up in Cincinnati. It’s called Marsie’s Menagerie and it can be seen in the Community Press. In fact, Love Mutt Photography will be featured in the column coming out this Thursday. In the article, we share some of our secrets for taking better photos of your pet. So be sure you check it out!
Also, be sure to check out Marsie’s new website and then go fan her on facebook.
Here I am with Marsie at Hyde Bark giving her some tips (with the lovely Ivy as our model!)
Love Mutt Photography is today’s featured guest on Coffee With A Canine. It’s an awesome dog blog that interviews creative professionals – authors, bloggers, artists, etc. – about their relationship with their furbabies. It was so fun doing the interview and I am so proud to be able to share the link with you now. You can read our interview by clicking here.
There’s something about snow that gets dogs really excited. They tend to revert to their puppyhood when there’s snow on the ground. So why not take advantage of the opportunity for a really unique photography session. Email us now to book your dog’s Snow Session before the snow melts away!
