This afternoon, our foster dog, Alison is meeting with a Cincinnati police officer to see if she could be trained as a drug dog. Matt and I feel that with her strong prey drive and the fact that she’s always searching for the cats when she’s loose in the house (they are locked up during these times) that she might be really good at it.
This could be great for the pit bull breed to have another one of its kind as a working dog. And I can’t think of a better home for Alison.

So…I have apparenlty become addicted to reading articles on the front page of Yahoo! So here’s another one that I thought my readers would find helpful. Most of this common sense…but there were a few that I was unaware of…so you may be too.
This story literally made me feel sick to my stomach. Looking through these images is heartbreaking. I am continually amazed at the amount of damage that mankind can do to our planet. I am by no means a “tree hugger”, but I do believe in being responsible and being good stewards of what we have. This is just outright destruction. Matt and I will no longer be purchasing BP gasoline.
This past weekend, Matt and I got to travel home to Illinois to visit family. My sister-in-law is pregnant and ready to give birth any day now. So we took some photos of “Baby J” (its either gonna be Jordyn or Josie…they haven’t decided yet) inside of Mommy’s tummy.
And I can’t take enough photos of my nephew Hunter (who is also expecting a lil baby brother or sister later this year!) This time we photographed him in his Easter outfit…which I think is just adorable.
This is my favorite.
I couldn’t resist doing some color effects since he was wearing such an old school outfit.
I promise I have not been purposely neglecting this blog. The rain has put off several of my sessions…so I don’t have any previews for you. And we’ve been really busy with the Cutest Dog Contest on our facebook fan page…so unfortunately, the blog has taken a back seat.
But I did want to share this absolutely hysterical video with you. It’s from a website called SimonsCat.com. The cartoonist is a cat owner who started making animated stories about his experience with his cats. If you have a cat…you will totally understand!
