I am so excited! I just got back the portrait of Ivy that I sent to Ali of Ali’s Paw Prints for her to work her magic on…and it looks AWESOME!!!! Here’s the original…

And here’s what Ali came up with…

I think she did such a fantastic job. I can’t wait to have it printed huge and hung on our wall. I’ll post pictures of that too.
Keep in mind that Ali doesn’t need a professional photo to do what she does. If you have a snapshot of your dog that you love, she can turn it into a masterpiece. So check her out!!! You won’t be disappointed.
If you’ve looked at any of the photos of our border collie mix, Ivy…you know that she has a pretty nice long coat. Well, not anymore! We gave her a nice new summer cut. Something to keep her cool and make her look all young and hip.
Here’s a pic of Ivy from last week…

And here she is today after her trimdown…

We left her tail, her head, and her chest. Everything else is gone!

And with all the leftovers…we’re making another dog!

I haven’t shot “just for fun” in a while. So I decided that today was gonna be the day. I took my two well-behaved dogs into the back yard for some new photos (cuz I don’t have enough of them.) Here are a few of my favorites…
Naula…my lil pittie

I love her ears!

This is Naula doing her ninja moves. She’s so fast, I can’t catch them all on camera (even shooting at like 1/1250!)

Ivy…future therapy dog of America!

LOL…I promise, I do not give alcohol to my animals!

We are so excited about this awesome new pet column that just started up in Cincinnati. It’s called Marsie’s Menagerie and it can be seen in the Community Press. In fact, Love Mutt Photography will be featured in the column coming out this Thursday. In the article, we share some of our secrets for taking better photos of your pet. So be sure you check it out!
Also, be sure to check out Marsie’s new website and then go fan her on facebook.
Here I am with Marsie at Hyde Bark giving her some tips (with the lovely Ivy as our model!)
