This gorgeous creature is Sugar, a rescued pittie who is sweet and loyal.

And this lil scene stealer is her brother, Archie. Also sweet…but would pass you over for a treat any day of the week.

This delightful lil 9-month-old pittie puppy is Emmy. And yes, she’s just as fun and playful as she looks. She was abandoned in a house in Georgia and now belongs to a loving pack. I mean, how can you resist that face?

Yesterday we met King and his “parents”. King enjoys waffles, tennis balls, and jumping on every human being in sight. He’s sweet, cuddly, and adorable.

Whose tongue is longer? King’s? Or Rocco’s?

Sorry this is a few days late. Suffice it to say that my hard drive filled up and we had to make some room!
Anyhoo…this is Isis & Nemesis…two sweet pitties who like to “cuddle” with people who sit on the ground with them.
Isis

Nemesis (affectionately known as “Pigger”)

Playing…with something that used to resemble some kind of toy…

And with one of their humans, Dale

We were so excited to get to photograph another former foster, Frankie, for this project. He was our second pittie foster and was adopted to a wonderful couple. And 3 months ago got his own lil human brother, Kade.

Well, we managed to avoid the rain for part of the day and got one more session in. Then we had the perfect storm…in more ways than one. Between the rain, one of the dogs not feeling well, and home games for both the Reds and the Bengals (not good when you want to shoot downtown) we had to reschedule another session. But again, you’ll meet those two next weekend.
So I present to you, Santana. Her master died in 2005 and her grandparents graciously took her into their pack as one of their own. She is very loved and very blessed.

Day two is now complete and we are EXHAUSTED! But its the best kind of exhaustion.
These pics are just from our first session today. Our second was a pack of 5 (one pittie) so we’ll post their preview tomorrow. Enjoy!
Memphis

Memphis and his human, Sheila

Hooch

Dog Butt. Like Hooch’s butt spot?

Today was our first day of sessions for our Pit Bull Project. It was soooooooooooooo fun. The only thing better than photographing dogs…is photographing your favorite breed all day. Here are some shots from today’s shoots.
Rocco

Chloe

Willow

And just for fun…
The Pit Bull & the Pomeranian…Which one is more likely to bite you?

Hint: It’s not the Pit Bull…
More sessions tomorrow!
We need pit bulls…and lots of ‘em.
We are beginning work on a new project that will raise money for pit bull rescue as well as hopefully shed some true light on this very misunderstood breed…and we need your pitties! We are looking for 30-40 pit bulls and/or pit mixes to be photographed over the next several months. Here are the details…
Session Info
- All sessions will be shot at a location of your choice (limit one location).
- Sessions will run approximately 30 minutes, unless more time is necessary to make your dog comfortable.
- Due to time constraints, sessions cannot be combined, unless you have more than one pit living in the same home.
- We highly encourage you to appear in the photos with your pit(s), but it is by no means a requirement.
- If you have kids, we really really really want them to be in some of the photos with the pit(s) as well. Remember, we want to change some minds with this project.
- We are charging a nominal fee of $50. This will be used to cover our time and travel expenses.
Photo Info
- Your dog’s photos will be loaded into a private online gallery within a week of your shoot and remain up for 2 weeks.
- For participating, you will receive one free 8×10. (This is per session. i.e. If you have two pits and only do one session, you will only receive one free 8×10. If you book two sessions, you will receive a free 8×10 from each session.)
- During the 2 weeks that your gallery is up, you may purchase any additional prints and items that you would like, but you are not required to make a purchase.
Project Info
- We are not sharing all the details of our project just yet.
- 100% profits raised from this project will go to Pit Bull Rescue Central a national pit bull rescue and advocacy group.
- Only your dog’s first name will appear in this project. None of your personal information will be shared.
Other Fine Print
- You will be required to sign a model release in order to participate.
- Participation in these sessions does not guarantee that your dog will be featured in the project.
So if you want to be a part of this, please email us at info@lovemutts.com or fill out a contact form on our contact page.
