It’s time for our 2nd Annual Cutest Dog Contest. For details, click here.

I don’t shoot children very often…but when I do, it’s always lots of fun. These lil cuties are both part of my Baby’s First Year package. Older sister Abby completed hers about 3 months ago. And little sister Emily is just beginning hers. Here are few of my favorite shots from their session last weekend…
Abby

Emily – doesn’t she have the cutest Cabbage Patch Doll eyes?

This is Abby at 3 months about a year ago…

And this is Emily at 3 months from this weekend…

I love chunky babies!

This was Abby’s first time seeing bubbles.

Matt and I are so excited. We just took some new photos (standouts to be precise) down to the Pet Athletic Club for display. They are staring you right in the face when you walk in the front door. We took some pics to commemorate the occasion.

Here’s a close-up of one of the standouts. These are our new favorite products.

Thank you to Mic and Steph of PAC for letting us display our work in your business. We hope that the images will brighten each day for both you and your clients.
If any of you reading this are looking for a good doggie day care in the city, I highly recommend you check out PAC. Mic and Steph really love what they do and care deeply for each and every dog in their care.
Zumaya is a 2-and-a-half-year-old lab mix. He’s very sweet and laid back. His mommy is Alison from Ali’s Paw Prints. If you pay attention to my blog and/or facebook at all, you know that I absolutely love her work. So I was really excited to get the chance to photograph her furbaby. Now I just have to decide which of my furbabies’ photos I want her to work her magic on.
Anyhoo…here are a few shots from Zumaya’s session.

Snarl! AKA – top lip caught on bottom tooth!

Go Bucks!

Love Mutt is now on Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/LoveMuttPhotography, so hop on over and follow us for news, updates, special coupons and discounts, and all around great fun! We’re a fun gang, and our facebook fans are too! The water is warm, so come on over to meet fellow Cincy animal lovers and hang out with us. C’mon, you know you wanna!

Now that you’ve all had a chance to view some of the photos from the Red Dog event last weekend, it’s time for me to share some of my personal faves.
We’ll start with my new favorite breed…greyhounds. These lil sweeties are from Queen City Greyhounds and are the most affectionate, loyal, and LAZY dogs I’ve ever met. Three of my favorite qualities all rolled into one breed.

If a picture is worth a thousand words…I rest my case!
Next…who can resist a pug’s face? I know I can’t. Here are some of my favorite pug faces. Most of these lil guys are from Ohio Pug Rescue.

This lil sweetie is from Labrador Retriever Rescue of Cincinnati. That’s right…he’s from a LAB rescue. Kudos to LRRoC for not discriminating against a non-lab. And kudos to Leopold for learning to sit for the first time at this event.

And then there’s this lil guy. His mom works with LRRoC. Here he is enjoying the spoils of victory from winning the Pet Tricks Contest.

To view the photos taken at last Saturday’s Adoption Event at Red Dog Pet Resort and Spa, please…
Enjoy 10% when you order by Friday, February 12th!
Thank you to everyone who weathered the snow to come out and support local animal rescue.

There’s something about snow that gets dogs really excited. They tend to revert to their puppyhood when there’s snow on the ground. So why not take advantage of the opportunity for a really unique photography session. Email us now to book your dog’s Snow Session before the snow melts away!

Congratulations to the adorable little Scottish Terrier (whose name I cannot find anywhere on the internet…seriously, it’s nowhere) who won Best in Show at yesterday’s Eukanuba Dog Show. Here’s a shot of a sweet little Scottie named Bowie that I recently photographed.

Edit: After catching a rerun of the Eukanuba Dog Show on Animal Planet…I found out that the winning Scottie’s name is Sadie.
Barring any cancellation due to inclimate weather, Matt and I will be shooting event coverage for an adoption event at Red Dog Pet Resort and Spa tomorrow from 12-3. So if you’re free…and not afraid of a little white death, come support local dog rescue. You’ll be glad you did.
